Anybody ever use Marine Snow in their reef tank. My LFS recommended it and I`ll give it a try but I wanted some other opinions. As usual with all things that I add to my tank (which is very little) I will under dose to err on the safe side. I have been using DT`s phytoplankton and oyster eggs. I suspect these will be better than the marine snow.

I've tried using Marine Snow as well. I can't say either that I've seen that big of an effect. I did notice the corals perk up and send out feeders in the tank, but I can't say they've benefited from any of it. IME, DT's is the way to go. |

Another additive Melosu, that IME has worked well is Cyclopeeze. Not only do my corals seem to enjoy it, the mandarinfish even picks at it as well. |

I would recommend staying with the DT's. I use that in the 190 gallon tank at work. Love it! Watch the shelf life though......
| Who would have thought a box of water could be so much fun? |
