I was thinking about getting this filter for my 125 and not using a skimmer. My reasoning is my 304 picks up the gunk very well and I am really happy with it. I will be doing corals in the 125. After reading This I am sure it will be better than a skimmer. I can run both phosban and purigen in it. What are your thoughts? |

I am thinking about ordering that monster too, lol. You should let me know how you like it, definitley! |

Yeah that filter seems pretty sweet Roka. I like the new Ehiem Pro III as well, though as usual the Ehiem carries a tremendous price tag. The FX5 has really gotten good reviews and your expierence so far seems to re-affirm that. |

You can go to hagen.com and look up the manual to read more. I tried to pull up the link but the site is not responding at this time. It does make for good info. |
